Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee stocktaking processes, and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders efficiently and accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA standards) to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure product quality and order accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the workflow and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience is necessary. We are looking for motivated candidates eager to learn and grow.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to direct teams effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and warehouse management software is a plus.
