Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe facility.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement lean warehouse practices to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze operational reports (KPIs, productivity, labor hours) to provide insights to upper management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience supervising and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 General Industry preferred.
- Skills: Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer software (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
