The Role
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will oversee a team of warehouse associates, manage inventory flow, and ensure that all logistics processes meet our rigorous standards for accuracy and speed. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics coordinator to schedule shifts and manage workflow efficiently during peak periods.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address performance issues proactively.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and software.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team leadership.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
