Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and manage team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control procedures using WMS technology
- Maintain equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance with provided tools
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for maximum efficiency
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS systems and inventory management software
- Forklift certification (provided if not current)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S methodologies preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus
