Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement lean warehouse practices
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless inbound/outbound logistics
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Manage warehouse equipment operations (provided) including forklifts and scanners
- Generate operational reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in logistics/distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery experience
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
