Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including forklift operators and pickers
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping of materials using provided equipment
- Implement lean inventory management systems and cycle counts
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and equipment maintenance protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency
- Train staff on proper equipment operation and safety procedures
- Collaborate with logistics team on transportation scheduling
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with equipment oversight
- OSHA certification and forklift operation proficiency
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Experience with inventory control and FIFO methods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proven leadership skills with conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
