Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and supervise 10-15 staff members using provided equipment (forklifts, scanners, etc.)
- Implement OSHA safety standards and maintain 5S compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems for accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentor team members
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless supply chain integration
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with equipment handling
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS software and inventory tracking systems
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
- Experience with JIT or lean manufacturing principles
