Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 team members in receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Implement and maintain safety protocols using provided PPE and equipment
- Optimize inventory control systems with RFID scanners and warehouse management software
- Train staff on operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated conveyor systems
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and report issues
- Analyze performance metrics to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience with equipment operation
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification required (training available for equipment)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety audits
