Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of temperature-sensitive goods
- Train and supervise 15+ staff members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Implement inventory control systems using WMS software to maintain 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to reduce handling time by 20%
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in cold chain or temperature-controlled environments
- OSHA 30-Hour and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-volume operations
- Advanced proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory optimization
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F - 45°F) for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
