Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 10-15 warehouse staff through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software to reduce errors
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Conduct regular process audits and implement continuous improvements
- Prepare operational reports and KPI metrics for senior leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Proven track record of team leadership and performance development
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting inventory data
- Flexibility to work alternative schedules including weekends/nights
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
