Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates with performance reviews
- Implement lean inventory management systems to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with logistics, purchasing, and sales teams
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory levels and optimize space utilization
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and incident investigations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities
- Flexible availability including some evenings/weekends as needed
