Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ team members in daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain a safe, efficient work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking and reporting accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams with transportation, purchasing, and quality assurance
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide targeted coaching for staff development
- Manage inventory audits and implement cycle count procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with inventory management systems
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 training preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Proven track record in process improvement and lean methodologies
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including occasional weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
