Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and quality standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize space utilization and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate WMS documentation
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident workplace culture
- Generate performance reports and KPI metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environment
- Forklift certification and proficiency with WMS/RMS software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to work flexible shifts (early morning/late evening options available)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and lean methodologies
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
