Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular facility inspections
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Utilize WMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) for inventory tracking
- Resolve operational bottlenecks through data-driven decision making
- Conduct weekly team meetings to align on KPIs and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours (including early mornings/weekends)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and AS/RS technology
