Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, coordinating daily operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
- Train and develop team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution or fulfillment centers
- OSHA certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory management and process optimization
- Exceptional leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
