Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and safety.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
- Implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Handle personnel issues and performance reviews in a fair and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid forklift certification and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
