Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and speed.
- Manage, mentor, and coach a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols to minimize workplace accidents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure stock availability.
- Implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Prepare accurate reports on daily operations, staff performance, and inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely shipping and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Deep knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
