Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring targets are met on time and within budget.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA compliance) to maintain a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain flow.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and employee attendance.
- Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate repair schedules.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Certified forklift operator (or willing to obtain certification).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
