Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing teams to prevent stockouts and optimize storage space.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all outbound orders meet quality and timeline standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive team performance improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or operations management.
- Certification in forklift operation and OSHA safety standards is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
