Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and a positive work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct daily safety briefings to maintain a hazard-free facility.
- Operations Management: Oversee receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement solutions to optimize operational speed and cost-effectiveness.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the routine maintenance and safety checks of forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
