Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high performance and attendance standards.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery schedules are met.
- Conduct regular training sessions on safety procedures and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related logistics role.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and RF scanning technology.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
