Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-value inventory
- Lead, train, and mentor 25+ staff members to achieve performance targets
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards with zero-accident culture
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS technology (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless logistics execution
- Analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budget allocation for equipment maintenance and labor costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30-Hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Advanced proficiency in WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
