Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy and minimize carrying costs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient receiving, storage, and order fulfillment processes
- Implement lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput by 20%+ annually
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance across all operations
- Analyze operational metrics and develop data-driven improvement strategies
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and vendor relationships for optimal uptime
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and warehouse automation technologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification and OSHA forklift trainer credentials preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and process optimization
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control operational costs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Forklift certification required
