Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow, timely order fulfillment, and high-quality standards.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to maximize productivity and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current processes and implement improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Logistics Coordination: Schedule shifts, coordinate with logistics partners, and manage incoming/outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, including 1+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and reach truck experience are mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document reports accurately.
