Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems to reduce errors and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
- Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Forklift certification (valid or obtainable within 30 days)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
