Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipment.
- Lead, train, and coach a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Enforce strict safety standards and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Manage shift schedules, staffing needs, and labor efficiency reports.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification during paid training).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to direct a diverse team.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
