In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all inventory is managed accurately and that our team operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment and prevent accidents.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee receiving and shipping processes, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to optimize daily operations and reduce costs.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and coordinate training sessions to upskill the team.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar operational role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced distribution center setting.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly.
