Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and spot checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and manual inventory records using inventory management software.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately to the warehouse manager.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to ensure efficient stock retrieval and safety compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding stock levels and inventory variances.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
