Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping processes, to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to optimize stock placement and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular quality control audits and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
- Prepare accurate daily reports regarding productivity, labor hours, and inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to obtain additional certifications as needed.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements.
- Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
