Role Overview
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will ensure that our inventory is managed accurately, our staff is trained and motivated, and our safety standards are the highest in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Manage and direct the warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a accident-free environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize storage space.
- Collaborate with management to improve logistics processes and implement new warehouse technologies.
- Conduct regular audits of stock and equipment to ensure accuracy and proper maintenance.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and communicate effectively with other departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
