Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct and supervise all daily warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, conducting regular shift briefings and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies using our WMS.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Equipment Management: Ensure proper maintenance and handling of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.
