Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Analyze operational workflows and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Reporting: Prepare and review operational reports, performance metrics, and budget forecasts for management review.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Certification: Forklift certification and experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is highly preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and external vendors.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
