Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to prevent loss.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
