Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a accident-free workplace.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Coordinate with management to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor staffing levels and create weekly schedules to meet business demands.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate various warehouse machinery.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
