Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates through performance management and training
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Optimize inventory control procedures using WMS systems to ensure accuracy
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facility to maintain operational standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate transportation schedules and dock assignments
- Generate performance reports and identify improvement opportunities for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership skills with ability to train and motivate diverse teams
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
