Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the daily workflow of the warehouse to ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure workspace for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and manage receiving and dispatching processes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of products and packaging to ensure high standards are met before shipment.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements to increase productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime when necessary.
