Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and best practices
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate shipping/receiving operations and maintain accurate documentation
- Train and mentor staff on warehouse equipment and procedures
- Optimize workflow processes to improve operational efficiency
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with logistics team to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1-2 years warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain through paid training
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
