Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor warehouse teams through daily operations while enforcing safety standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and implement efficient receiving/shipping processes
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive coaching to team members
- Monitor warehouse metrics and implement process improvements for operational excellence
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and inventory teams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and operational budgets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn WMS systems
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid 6-week training program
- 1+ years warehouse or supervisory experience preferred but not required
