Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure environment for all employees.
- Team Management: Lead, train, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Training: Willingness to participate in our paid training program for Forklift certification and management best practices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Technical: Proficiency in using warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
