Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Train and manage team of 10-15 warehouse associates on safety procedures and efficiency standards
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum productivity
- Prepare reports on operational metrics and performance indicators
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
