Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Team Management: Direct, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure 99% accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance for forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams in fast-paced environments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
