Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct weekly safety audits
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless dock-to-stock operations
- Manage warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Analyze KPIs and implement process improvements
- Handle escalated client inquiries and resolve operational issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Data analysis experience with inventory/shipping metrics
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Remote work capability for reporting and coordination tasks
