Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping/receiving workflows
- Train and supervise 15+ staff members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and productivity standards
- Implement lean inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for on-time dock scheduling and carrier communications
- Conduct weekly safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Generate performance reports and optimize warehouse layout for efficiency
- Manage cross-functional projects for process improvements and cost reduction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operation certification required
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development and conflict resolution experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and experience with automated conveyor systems
