Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Manage, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Coordinate with inventory control teams to ensure accurate stock levels and cycle counts.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment maintenance checks.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve logistics issues professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) is highly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment operation skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
