Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and providing necessary training.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels and team productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
