Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing goods
- Manage team of 10-15 warehouse associates with scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient loading/unloading of shipments
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
- Resolve operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution or fulfillment centers
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field a plus
