Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Manage, mentor, and train warehouse staff to improve performance, efficiency, and morale.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Optimize workflows and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on staff performance and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic computer skills (Excel, ERP).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
