Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and safety-first work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure workplace for all employees.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with management to forecast staffing needs and manage overtime requirements effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) and current forklift license.
- Proven track record of managing inventory and ensuring accurate stock records.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
