Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes to ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and train a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workplace.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Process Improvement: Analyze operational workflows and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize storage space.
- Staff Scheduling: Create and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related supervisory role.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and driving performance improvements.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, SAP, HighJump) and MS Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
