Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 10-15 warehouse associates through scheduling, training, and performance feedback
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols and safety procedures
- Optimize inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and maximize accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with logistics, procurement, and sales teams
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with proven leadership track record
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
